Milestones, Appointments and Development

Jake had his Pediatrician appointment yesterday. The doctor advised to buy some board games to play that teaches him how to share. So, far he is doing great health wise but since he is already three years old he needs to get a dental check up. The potty training still not fully successful yet but he is doing good so far. There were time he would say he wants to go potty but there were also time he doesn't however, he will go potty I let him sit on the potty. His vocabulary is getting better too, I mean he can say the words in complete sentence and use courtesy words like thank you, and please. But, we have to be careful with the words that comes out from out mouth as he can follow and imitate us.

As for my lamb chop, she already had her doctors appointment first week of this month. She is one smart girl as she can also copy your action so quickly. I showed her one time the action song Head, shoulder, knees and toes while I was singing I was pointing to these different parts of her body. She absorbed it so easily and she can say each of these words either. Every time we read books she can point to the object and name them even if it sounded gibberish. Her favorite word and picture would always be dog and ball. She can say lots of words now. I'm so proud and will always be to my dragonz J&J. They are always be my dragonz as they always sucked up all my power and energy.LOL

Making Friend

This what she looked like when she tried to make friend to this other girl she saw at the playground. This is also her new facial expressions when she makes pa cute.

Lately, we have been going out and this shy and aloof little lambchop has started to socialize. She still have strangers anxiety but not that bad. She smiles to someone she likes. My sister is visiting us right now and she will be leaving tomorrow for Vegas. Rachael and Justine become best pal right away. The little lambchop didn't cry the first time she held her eyes to my sister and hold her. I feel like I got my day off now from Justine, she wasn't bothering me for couple of days now.

Jake on ABC...123

Jake know some of the letters in the alphabet and almost all the numbers from 1 - 9. Although he refuses to say some of the letters and numbers that he find it hard to say but I can tell that he is trying to say them. The video above was taken couple of weeks ago during lunch time. I tried to take a video of him reading all the letters and numbers but as soon as I played the video the second time he stopped and asked for food. Now, every time he sees letters and numbers on the TV, computer and every where he just read them. I am so proud of my little buckaroo. He is still 25 months old and he knows almost all of the letters and numbers.

J this Week

According to the weekly develoment from Babycenter.com...

And they're off! The stages of crawling usually go something like this: from a sitting position to all fours, to rocking back and forth, to finally pushing off with the knees -- and then starting to move forward (or back). But there are plenty of variations on this progression. Many babies never crawl. Others develop a crawling style that looks more like soldiers bellying through the underbrush or monkeys poised on fingertips and tiptoes.

Justine have done all these when she was 6-7 months. At 8 months she can crawl already. She is 8 months and 2 week right now but she can already pull herself up and stand. She started doing this last week.

When Jake broke our fence going upstairs few days ago, he would go up and down the stairs back and forth. Justine love to play with so she chases him around but when the Kuya want to go upstairs the lil girl cries and wish she could follow. She tries to climb up the stairs but her leg still too short to reach it. She wants to walk and run like her kuya and giggles if you hold her walk. I guess that the advantage of being the second child coz you have alder siblings to look up and the developments seems faster than the first born.

@ 3-month-old: Week 3

Updates on your 3-month- and 3 week old baby;
By now your baby has gone from being a passive observer of the world to being — or at least wanting to be — an active participant. Some babies this age even like trying to "stand." If your baby seems to want to stand up while being held securely on your lap, it means those little leg muscles are probably sturdy enough to explore this new sensation.
I subscribe on babycenter, so every month I get updates of Justine's milestones. It made me smile reading all this informative milestones as it works great on Justine. Above is the latest video of Justine taken last weekend. She was watching TV while smiling, giggling to her father.

17 Months old Jake

Jake is 17 months old and at his age he is doing well. He can say words though some of them are not that clear yet but it was fine at his age. Baby at this age they can talk gibberish, and he still scream or yells when he needs something. He is dealing well with Justine right now, well, he hits her every now and then especially if we kind of panic every time he come closer to Justine. He is so curious in everything he sees, and wanted to explore things. Like this mic which is broke now that we used for chatting with my family. Now we don't have a mic to used for chatting.
