Sky Watch - Sky Web

The clouds looks like a web or some snow up in the sky. I took this one while the car was running. I just wanted to capture the sun and perhaps get a good look at it. But when the sun shines it always comes out dark in the picture. Im sure professional photographer knows how to take photo of the sun at noon time.

Fireworks

The day before Halloween people in the park were lighting fireworks. It was really nice so even at the last minute I still able to take video of it. The pictures didn't come out really well though.

Sky Watch & Looking at the Sky - Moon! Sun

On our way home from Slipper Rock Jake was irritated with the sun light blinding him. It was almost 6:00 o clock in the evening and the sun was about to set. On the left side he spotted the moon following us. So, he thought there are lots of moon and there lots of sun too. I told him there is only one moon and one sun but he kept pointing to the sun and moon up in the sky and insisted that there are lots of moon. Yeah, we had arguments because there are lots of moon.

Looking at the sky on Friday

Isn't it great if the weather would always be like this until winter comes? Oh how I wish. I took the dragons out last Wednesday but this time we didn't walk because hubby was home early. He just droved us there and came back after an hour to picked us up. As always, I got busy chasing these two dragons as they like running off in different direction. But whats important was they both enjoyed their day outside.

Looking at the Sky on Friday - Cotton Clouds and Angel Clouds

TGIF again. I hope we can relax this weekend and enjoy the beautiful weather. These were the look of the sky taken when I was in the plane going home from NYC. I wanted to take photos of the beautiful clouds while in the plane so even if my hand was full at that time i just had to take a quick snap with my cam. The first photo it looks like cottons and the second one looks like angels flying up in the sky. I love these pictures.

Looking at the Sky on Friday

It's been a while since I participated in this Friday meme Looking at the Sky on Friday. I got lazy taking pictures with the sky and uploading pictures. But when we were in NYC i took few photos of the sky.

Why do you like watching at the sunset or sunriseor even the moon at night? What is it with the sunset and sunrise why it draws a lot of attention and they always look amazing?

A tidbits of information from the soruce; wikipedia. Sunset is the daily disappearance of the sun below the horizon as a result of the Earth's rotation. The atmospheric conditions created by the setting of the sun, occurring before and after it disappears below the horizon, are also commonly referred to as "sunset". The time of sunset is defined in astronomy as the moment the trailing edge of the sun's disk disappears below the horizon in the west.

Looking at the Sky on Friday

I took this pictures when were on the road from Wal-Mart last weekend. I tried to capture one of the bridge of monongahela river, the color of the trees which are all very sad to see because they are all dry and dead and the different ble shades of the sky on that day.

Information from Wikipedia,
The Monongahela River (pronounced /məˌnɒŋɡəˈheɪlə/, also known locally as the Mon /ˈmɒn/) is a river on the Allegheny Plateau in North-Central West Virginia and southwestern Pennsylvania in the United States. At Pittsburgh, it meets the Allegheny River to form the Ohio River. The word "Monongalia" is a Latinized version of the Native American word "Monongahela," which means "falling banks," in reference to the geological instability of the river's banks. Moravian missionary David Zeisberger gave this account of the naming: In the Indian tongue the name of this river was Mechmenawungihilla, which signifies a high bank, which is ever washed out and therefore collapses.
