Having a Live-in Babysitter

Thanks for the guest post by Eugene Fulton

Today has been a long day and it is not over yet. I have so much to do as far as cleaning the house, getting laundry done, and starting dinner. My husband is at work so I will have to get this done on my own and hope that the kids cooperate with me. Sundays are usually hectic around here, because we are trying to get ready for the next work and school week. My children love to tag team me when my husband is not home, it is like they know they can get away with more when I am by myself. One thing I am thankful for is the Nick Jr. network, it is a kids program on satellite television that I got after seeing this Direct TV Comparison. This program entertains my children as long as I need them to. The station is not only kid-friendly but it is also educational. My children learn a lot from watching this program and it is pretty much the only station that plays in my house all day. I rarely get to watch anything else because the kids love it that much. I do not have to worry about purchasing numerous DVD's because this station has everything that the kids would like to watch. My children are a year old and four years old, so the best thing is that there is enough variety to keep them both entertained.

Sponsor a Child

Children are the hope of our nation. They will be the future generation that will continue what our ancestors had started. In times of tragedy and misfortunes my heart bleeds for the children who get affected by the tragedy. They are so fragile and innocent to have experience the cruelness of the world. Some of the parents are so inconsiderate and selfish to neglect their own children. Let us give hope to these children by helping them. Sponsor a Child and you will make a difference. There are children in different part of the world that are suffering from starvation and neglected. You have the power to provide a child in the U.S. or overseas with food, clothing, healthcare, and education everyday. Help a child one at a time. These children deserve a better life and this will be possible with your helping hand and generous heart. Check out childrenincorporated.org today and sponsor a child.

Bloody Cut

I was drinking coke tonight while checking my blog. When hubby was talking I turned around to look at him but still had the empty coke can in my hand. So, while hubby and I talking the sneaky buckaroo took the can off my hand. I forgot about the can and went back on blogging. Moments later I saw blood on Justine's forehead. I hurriedly check but didn't see any cut or wounds. I checked on Jake and he had blood all over his hand. He was playing with the pin in that coke can and got a cut from the pointy pin because he managed to take it off from the can. He didn't even flinched or cry in pain from that big cut in his finger. What a tough kid! Lesson learns; never give a can to your child and pay more attention to your active and curious children. Darn blogging! Shame on me, blame it to the blog lol. Sorry Jake it's mama's fault.
