Blue Monday - It's All About Blue Jay

Finally, I captured a Blue Jay...in my camera guys hehehe. This Blue Jay been hanging out at our backyard by the time I got the camera in my hand they're already gone. I took this at our kitchen that is why it looks blurred.

The Blue Jay (Cyanocitta cristata) is a passerine bird, and a member of the family Corvidae native to North America. It belongs to the "blue", Canadian or American jays, which are, among the Corvidae, not closely related to other jays. It is adaptable, aggressive and omnivorous, and has been colonizing new habitats for many decades. Do you wanna know more about Mr. Blue Jay? Well, check out Wikipedia.

Time tp pay a visit the host of this meme Ms. Smilling Sally and thank her by leaving your trail.

I love bird watching and I know what you mean about, they fly time you pick up your camera. I have had to take pictures through my windows too. Nice info on the Blue Jays.

PS thanks for stopping by my blog and all prayers are welcome.

I know the feeling of catching something you've been waiting for a long time. I also have the same problem with catching Maya birds in our house and I was able to get some shots in my little boy's school where the birds are more relaxed :-)

nice capture!

Thanks for visiting me and your comments, in the south we use the ripest bananas to make banana bread. It tastes the best! Congrats on catching the blue jay photos, they are very greedy and tend to eat all the bird seed when they can. Pretty but not so nice!

Hello over there,
here in Sweden is this bird's name: Blåkråka - Blue crow.
But we don't have them here.

Ang ganda naman sa lugar ninyo, maraming ibon ang dumadalaw. Kung minsan me maliliit ding hayop na dumadalaw katulad nang squirrel. Nakakatuwa at nakakaaliw silang tingnan at panoorin. Sige, thanks for the post. God bless you all always.

Beautiful bird! We have them in our yard too and I still have to take a picture of them. They're not as plentiful as the cardinals, which are all over the place...Christine

It is so frustrating to want to take a picture of something and never be able to "catch it" in time...I'm so glad that you were able to finally capture your Blue Jay. He looks very busy now that spring is among us. :) Thanks for sharing your photos!
