My friend asked me where I bought the stool that Jake used when he was sitting on the potty. I told her my SIL gave that two stools for Jake and Justine. It was a hand-me-down actually. These stools are very useful. They can use it to stepped on when brushing their teeth, washing their hands and switching lights. One time, Jake carried one of this stool to our room where the bookshelves is because he was trying to reach the Thomas and Friends book that I hid in there. We do not have library but we need library step stools to easily reach those books that is place on top of our book shelves. Besides, Jake will sure need one of this soon if we have our own house and have small library area in the room. By the way, thanks to my SIL in Chicago to sending tons of books and stuff including these stools for my monkeys.
However, potty training is never easy. You watch different potty training video, read several books about potty training and even research online about it yet, you still find it so hard to make it 100% potty trained. During the first week of this month, I thought I just needed to be consistent in putting him on the potty. But this past week, my consistency seems never work out. I put him in the potty the same time of the day but he wasn't doing it anymore. He would scream he pooped and did it but he already flushed the toilet. I also did not see or smell anything. In other words, out potty training lately is not doing well.
